Here's a case you can see everyday on any busy intersection. Drivers in a rush will attempt
to push their way though pedestrians who are crossing in the crosswalk with the light. Notice
white "walk" light. This is a heavily trafficed intersection near a BART stop. Pedestrians
are being forced to walk outside of the crosswalk to get around the car.
